I can’t stop laughing at the quote. Red or White?!!!! I would choose white by the way.
I often talk about alcohol, my journey, wine, the battles I face daily, gin and tonic, my training schedule, whiskey……..
I have included a paragraph from MY STORY. I was a drinker… A BIG drinker. I never missed an opportunity to have a drink. I was the life and soul of every party. First to arrive and last to leave. Everyone wanted me at their parties because I was a good time just waiting to happen. Yip, I even danced on tables – thankfully I am a brilliant dancer.
Then I changed, I never believed change was possible. It did not happen quickly; it was a process. It was my journey, a journey that I pray never ends. You have to want to change, because change is hard. Once I had made the decision to change my lifestyle it was clear to me what I had to do.
From My Story…….
“I also stopped drinking 3 bottles of wine every time I went out for dinner or to a party – Like I said earlier I was the life and soul of every party. …. alcohol is known as empty calories. One glass of wine is equivalent to eating 3 baked potatoes. So I must have eaten the equivalent of a pocket of potatoes every time I went out. I now happily enjoy 2 – 3 spritzers.
When we consume alcohol our body stops burning fat and there is immense pressure put on our organs while our body tries to expel the alcohol from our body.”
